• If liquid is withdrawn from the vessel, the valve ball / float is located at the bottom of the valve. Air / protective gas can enter the vessel and thus ensure pressure compensation. The vessel is not damaged by vacuum. • When the vessel is filled, the air/protective gas is vented through the valve to the atmosphere until the liquid level reaches the valve ball/float. Further filling of the valve ball / float floats with the liquid level and obstructs the vessel at the valve seat. Indication
• In the closed state, venting is possible despite the accumulation of air (gaseous fluids) only if the pressure in the vessel is lower than atmospheric pressure. • The valves are not suitable for media that impair the opening or closing of the ball/float due to deposits or adhesion. Fluids
