Pressure reducing valve V182-V82

The pressure reducing valve V182/V82 reduces the system pressure to a defined value. Using the differential pressure, the pressure reducer is adjusted to the set operating pressure. The outlet pressure is not directly related to the inlet pressure.
The downstream pressure is exerted on the diaphragm surface via a control orifice and counteracts the force of the set spring. Once pressure equilibrium is reached, the valve closes and thus keeps the operating pressure constant. If the pressure decreases on the outlet side, the spring force is greater and the valve opens until pressure equilibrium is reached again.
