- The media contacting components are made of PP, glass fibre reinforced or PVDF.
- Wheel support by pump shaft made of aluminium oxide (Al2O3) or silicide carbon (SSiC) with axial guidance
- Axial bearing in carbon, aluminium oxide (Al2O3) or silicide carbon (SSiC)
- Silicon silicide carbon (SSiC) or HD carbon bushing
- Open (20-15-80) or closed radial wheel
- Power transmission via the central coupling with overload protection
- Magnets with high energy density
- Diffusion-tight encapsulated internal magnetic carrier, non-magnetic separating flange of PP-GF or PVDF to prevent eddy current losses

General aspects
• ASV magnet pumps are horizontal, non-self-priming, sealless, non-self-priming centrifugal pumps for use as delivery and process pumps. The fixed separating flange separates the medium to be conveyed from the atmosphere.
• Permanent magnets transmit the power of the drive to the wheel. These magnets are located outside and inside (encapsulated against liquids) of the separator flange and are force-locked together by their magnetic field.
• The non-conductive spacer flange guarantees the high performance of the coupling.
• No shaft passage from the wheel to the atmosphere or the drive shaft is required,
the pumps are leak-tight, leak-free and require little maintenance.
• Pumps are also suitable for media that cannot contact the atmosphere.
• All pump components that come into contact with liquids are free of metals and therefore oxidation by the media is excluded.
• The improved dry-running capability is only guaranteed when the wheel axle is made of aluminium oxide or SSiC and the bearing bushing is made of carbon.
Dry running is prohibited with other slide bearing combinations.
