The measured value sensor ZE 3075 serves as a measuring transducer for the ASV flowmeters DFM 165 to DFM 200 and is mounted on the dovetail guide. The 4 to 20 mA output signal is proportional to the height of the magnetic float. Description work


The ZE 3075 measured value sensor supplies a 4 to 20 mA signal generated by the float height in the flow meter (DFM). The unit consists of a reed chain, the corresponding evaluation and transduction. The flowmeter floats have a permanent magnet. The flow of the medium causes the float to pass through the reed chain. The contacts of the reed chain are actuated depending on the float height. The measured values are output as a 4 to 20 mA current signal. This signal can be processed directly. Command

The device is connected with a standard unshielded cable. If electromagnetic interpolations above the test values of EN 61326 for industrial areas are expected, a shielded cable must be used.

Description

  • The ZE 3000 provides an industry standard 4 to 20 mA signal which is generated by an accurate magnetic angle measurement of the magnetic float in DFM. With the ZE 3000, existing flowmeters (with magnetic floats) can be easily retrofitted to electrically signal the flow and, for example, be processed in a PLC in order to carry out a process control or to display the flow directly on a screen. ASVStübbe programs this microprocessor-controlled device for the respective DFM. This guarantees an exact measurement and evaluation of the flow.

Indication

  • It must first be known in which DFM the ZE 3000 is installed. – The fluid designation can be found on the corresponding scale. Unless otherwise indicated, the percentage scale is based on H2O, 20°C.
